Order cancellation
- You can cancel an order any time before it is dispatched by writing to category@chiselindia.com with your order number.
- Prepaid orders cancelled before dispatch are refunded in full, including any shipping charge paid.
- Once an order has been dispatched it can no longer be cancelled — see the returns section below for what is covered after delivery.
Returns and replacements
Because our catalogue is personal-care products (skincare, haircare, cosmetics), opened or used products cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons. We do, however, fully cover you in the following cases, reported within 7 days of delivery :
- Damaged in transit — the product arrived broken, leaking or crushed.
- Wrong item — you received a different product than what you ordered.
- Missing item — a product from your order was not in the parcel.
- Quality defect — a genuine manufacturing defect in an unused product.
To raise a claim, email category@chiselindia.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos (or a short video) of the product and packaging. Our team responds within 1 business day. Depending on the case, we will arrange a replacement at no cost or a full refund , including a reverse pickup where required.
Refund method and timelines

Refunds are initiated within 48 hours of a claim being approved. The credited amount may take additional time to reflect depending on your bank or card issuer.
What is not covered
- Change of mind after the product has been opened or used.
- Mild variations in colour, texture or fragrance natural to handcrafted products.
- Skin or hair reactions — please read ingredient lists carefully and patch-test new products; discontinue use and consult a professional if irritation occurs.
- Claims raised more than 7 days after delivery.
